Prelude: Music for Little Ones
Classes
Prelude invites babies, toddlers, preschoolers and their caregivers to experience the joy of music together in this graded curriculum, crafted to help your child flourish musically, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Music Shapes Hearts and Minds
When music and movement fill a child’s early years, growth unfolds in every direction—language, memory, confidence, coordination, and comprehension. Prelude encourages families to learn side-by-side, discovering how music strengthens attention, expression, and connection to God and one another. The shared rhythms discovered through making music together reflect God’s design for creativity and community and strengthen family bonds. In addition to a well-curated selection of rhymes, folk songs and classical pieces, your family will learn prayers, hymns, and other songs of our faith. These classes are intended to be the prelude into our choir ministry and our church body, laying the musical foundation for a lifetime - and eternity - of worship.
Prelude classes take place on Monday mornings and are taught by Deborah Waterman. Fall semester runs from September to December and spring semester runs from January to May.
