About PCPC
Park Cities Presbyterian Church exists to extend the transforming presence of the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ in Dallas and to the world.
If you are new to our church or just exploring our website, we are delighted to help you get to know more about us. PCPC is a large, extended family of people seeking to be Christ’s disciples and to bear His truth into our world. That commitment is expressed in our Purpose — that we exist to extend the transforming presence of the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ in Dallas and to the world.
So if you’re brand new to the Christian faith—perhaps, just trying to figure out what it’s all about, or if you’ve been a follower of Christ for some time, let us introduce you to our family. In worship, disciple-making, children’s and youth programs, outreach, and missions, and in just having fun together, we would like to provide you with a church home, a place to come and see, to belong, to serve.
Our Congregation
Our congregation is a member of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). The PCA was founded in 1973 in response to the need for a scriptural, evangelical, and reformed witness to Christ. It has established as its top priorities to be biblical in both its government and doctrine and committed to evangelism, Christian education, and equipping Christians for ministry.
Church Government
PCPC functions under the Presbyterian, or representative form of church government. The officers of the church are elders, elected by the congregation. The senior pastor, associate ministers, and ruling elders comprise the Session and are responsible for the governance and spiritual oversight of the church.
Opening Our Doors
We are opening our doors for worship on Sundays at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. We will have limited capacity and therefore request reservations online (opening at 7:00 a.m. on Mondays) prior to your Sunday attendance. We will continue to live stream our services at pcpc.org/live/ at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. for any and all who would prefer to worship online. There will be no shuttle service/valet, Sunday Morning Communities, nor groups meeting at PCPC at this point. We will have volunteers to assist you in knowing where to park, entering the Sanctuary, and exiting at the end of the service. Safety is still our top priority for you and our community, so we will use this as our next phase toward gathering together as a church family. If you are experiencing or have experienced any health issues this week, we ask that you continue to worship online.
We are excited to now offer limited childcare for ages 0-4. Our first priority is to offer a safe and healthy environment for your child. We are abiding by local, state, and federal guidelines for COVID-19. The screening of all volunteers, parents, and adults into the PCPC Childcare area will take place on Sunday morning prior to entry. Families, please access the childcare check-in area by using the ramp located on Wycliff Ave. You will reserve a spot for your child through the reservation system on Thursdays at 12-noon.
