Church planting has been part of PCPC’s identity and mission since we first began. For the past three decades, PCPC has helped to plant churches and support Reformed University Fellowship campus ministries in Texas and all over the world.
In the United States, these church planting efforts have largely taken place through the Southwest Church Planting Network, which PCPC founded in 1998 to plant churches in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and Oklahoma. Globally, PCPC primarily partners with Mission to the World to plant self-propagating, self-supporting, and self-governing churches led by indigenous pastors.
In 1997, PCPC committed to planting 100 churches by 2020. By God’s grace, this goal was surpassed. But the work is not over. PCPC remains committed to church planting as the primary means by which we can extend the transforming presence of the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ in Dallas and to the world.
