Ministries
Nursery Ministry
The Nursery ministry exists to extend the transforming presence of Jesus Christ to the covenant babies and toddlers of PCPC. By providing a safe, loving environment and introducing the children to worship and biblical instruction, we come alongside parents to help them prepare their children for a lifetime of knowing Christ and making Him known.
Nursery is a ministry for children 3 months to children turning 36 months after June 1.

Preschool Ministry
The Preschool Ministry at PCPC aims to come alongside the parents of 3 year olds through Kindergarten-aged children to foster a love for Christ and his Church — while planting the foundational seeds for learning His word. This is done on Sunday mornings through Bible Story Lessons, Scripture and Cathechism Memorization, Corporate Worship in Cherub Church, and Crafts and Activities in the classroom — with plenty of time to play on our indoor and outdoor playgrounds as well!

Elementary Ministry
The Elementary ministry serves the 1st-5th Graders during the 9:30 and 11:00 hours on Sunday mornings. With a dynamic group of volunteers, 1st-2nd Graders are invited to participate in Worship Explorers during the 9:30 hour. Worship Explorers is our fun, intentional program to prepare kids for corporate worship through participating in a kid-friendly version while at the same time learning stories from the entire Bible.
The 11:00 hour, Kids Court, focuses more on a large group/small group format that is divided by grade and gender. Our committed leaders use the Great Commission Curriculum, which is intended to focus on heart change in both the leader and the child through the modeling, learning, and application of prayer and scripture in a more relational, discussion-oriented format.
We are very thankful that God has called you to be a part of our children’s ministry. We look forward to you being an integral part of the expansion of his kingdom both to Dallas and to the world. Extending his kingdom begins inside our own church body with our covenant children. We want you to assist in making these children long to worship God together, eager to know and live the Word of God, commit to pray boldly and dependently, to be ready to tell their story of rescue, and to act to change the world. This process begins here within the PCPC Children’s ministry and continues in the home.

First Friday & bEfriend Ministry
First Friday provides a parent’s night out for families with students ages 3-18 with a disability, as well as their siblings. We provide a buddy for the evening from 6:00-9:00 p.m. one Friday night a month during the school year. Each evening has a theme, crafts, activities, and a karaoke/dance party including a devotional led by a team member.
bEfriend offers dinners for 8 for our adults with disability. We provide a themed dinner and conversation from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on the same nights as First Friday allowing us to continue to build friendships when our students age out of First Friday Parent’s Night Out.
To register to volunteer or participate, email Jeanie Cox.
