Focus is a Co-ed study that meets on Wednesday nights with small group discussion, lecture, and fellowship. There are separate discussion groups for women and men, and there are also groups for COUPLES! There is a women's group that meets in person, along with a Zoom option. After small group discussions, all come together for a teaching time in a lecture format. This fall and spring, we will be studying 1 and 2 Samuel, using the new curriculum: The Rise and Reign of the Lord's Anointed.
In a time of national unrest and spiritual confusion, when Israel was little more than a fragile confederation of tribes, God raised up a shepherd to be king. This in-depth study traces the pivotal transition from tribal chaos to a unified monarchy and tells the story of the man who would become Israel's greatest ruler, not because of his perfection, but because of his heart for God.
