VBS Kickoff Celebration
Sunday, June 4
4:00-6:00 p.m.
Join us for an evening of food, fellowship, and fun! A time of worship and a preview of VBS 2023 will also be held. Everyone is welcome! (VBS Registration is not required to attend.)
Missions Opportunity
This year’s VBS Missions Project partner is West Dallas Community School (WDCS). WDCS is a long-time PCPC ministry partner and has been serving the families of West Dallas, one of the most underserved areas in our city, for 25 years. WDCS offers a private, Christian education for Pre-K through 8th grade students, helping them gain a love and understanding for all that is good, true, and excellent.
PCPC has been specifically assigned to support Mrs. Dance’s 3rd grade classroom. VBS 2023 Missions Project items to support Mrs. Dance’s 3rd grade classroom can be found on this special West Dallas Community School Amazon Wishlist. Purchased items can be delivered during VBS week/events or shipped directly to PCPC Attn: VBS Missions.
Your support in providing supplies will greatly assist the precious children in Mrs. Dance’s classroom. There will also be an opportunity to serve at WDCS at the back-to-school cleanup day in August.
VBS 2023 REGISTRATION ROLL-OUT INSTRUCTIONS (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY)
March 22:
- Adult Volunteer Registration – Priority registration phase for adults willing to serve each day at VBS and their immediate children/youth
- Children of Registered Adult Volunteers (3 mos. – rising 4th graders)†
- Youth of Registered Adult Volunteers (rising 5th - rising 8th graders)†√
NOTE: Once an Adult Volunteer has registered to serve onsite at VBS 2023, he/she will receive a registration confirmation email. The links to register his/her immediate children and/or youth to participate in VBS will be embedded within that Adult Volunteer registration confirmation email.
April 10:
- General Registration* – Estimated registration opening for children and/or youth of non-volunteering adults. Please note that this will only open if programming ratios can safely be met for VBS 2023.
All registrations are on a first-come, first-serve basis, and waitlists may need to be put in place at any point. Please understand that we must have a sufficient number of volunteers in place before allowing more participants into the program. If you cannot fully commit to serving onsite the entire week of VBS, we kindly ask that you please wait for general registration to enroll your children.
All Adult Volunteers must have fully completed PCPC’s Safety System, which includes Awareness Training (with a quiz), a cleared Criminal Background Check, and a fully executed and approved Volunteer Application form before serving at VBS.
It is our hope and prayer that you understand these special circumstances and that you kindly honor the roll-out registration groupings as set forth above.
