Park Cities Presbyterian Church presents George Frideric Handel's beloved oratorio, Messiah, with a Baroque orchestra. Internationally renowned Baroque violinist Cynthia Roberts will lead the period instrument orchestra in accompanying the adult, youth, and children's choirs of Park Cities Presbyterian, along with vocal soloists.
The story of Messiah provides a fitting Good Friday contemplation and anticipatory Easter celebration. Admission is free. An offering will be taken. Doors open 30 minutes prior to the concert. This presentation of Messiah will include all three parts (only a few movements in the middle of Part 2 will be omitted). There will be one intermission.
