Class Details

Instructor:
Ken Olles

Time:
9:15 a.m.

Location:
Mezzanine B

Teaching Topic:
Romans

“For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus; who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself a people for His own possesion, zealous for good deeds_.” — Titus 2:11-14 (NASB)

God’s answer to the utter chaos of human sinfulness was to give us His Son, His Spirit and His Word so that we might know, love and enjoy Him. And this is our love for Him, that we believe in and obey His Son, Jesus Christ. Following Christ is the Father’s will and is the duty of those who trust Jesus Christ for eternal life. This is discipleship. The Good Shepherd’s Community is a fellowship of disciples of Christ. It is our goal to reflect the glory of God in and through our glad submission (John Piper). We will endeavor to study God’s Holy Word and grow through prayer so that the transforming presence of Christ may be demonstrated in our love for one another. Our plan of study will take us through selected books of the Bible, Christian Doctrine, and biblical themes. The class will also have fellowship outside of the Sunday School hours so that we might take the opportunity to know each other and grow as a family of believers. Please join us. Adults of all ages are welcome.
