The book of Leviticus confuses us, bores us, or stops our read-through-the-Bible plans. What do priests, sacrifices, rules, and feasts have to do with knowing and loving God? Leviticus also reveals God as pure, holy, and righteous. How can we approach this holy God? Leviticus tells us of God's desire to dwell with His people and how He made a way for His people to approach Him. Spoiler alert- the way is Jesus! These details help us explore and understand Scripture. An inductive study requires slow reading, close observation, and asking questions. This helps us start with the Word, stay with the Word, and yield to the Word. Join teachers Sara Wood and Susen Keyes for this in-depth Bible study.
We will continue our study in the spring with 1-3 John and 1 Peter.
Study Scripture inductively with a small group of women and men on Tuesday nights. This evening small group of Precepts meets from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at 27 Saint Laurent Pl. Come study God's Word with Precepts (P.M.). There is no childcare for this evening study. This study costs $25 per class series.
Registration covers the fall semester.
