We often dwell on God’s mercy and forgiveness of us. But what does God tell us about our own forgiveness of others? This brings up lots of questions. When should we forgive someone? Does forgiving excuse sin? Does forgiving someone always mean restoring a relationship with that person? What does the story of Scripture tell us about forgiveness?
This summer, women of all ages will explore forgiveness during our Women’s Summer Book Study. We will spend six weeks looking at six key passages in Scripture about what forgiveness means in our spiritual walk, using Forgiveness by Erika Allen as a guide. Registration costs $8.
Summer morning childcare (birth-Kindergarten) will be available during these six weeks from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. with a reservation. Note that childcare lasts longer than the study, so moms are welcome to come to the church early for extra time of quiet in Scripture or prayer on their own.
Please note we will not meet on July 1.
