Resources: About Young Adults: We are one ministry of Young Adults consisting of three different life stages: singles, couples, and families. Young Adults at PCPC are primarily, but not exclusively, in their 20’s to late 30’s. As a unified group we hope to grow, serve, and gather regularly to know Christ more and to make Him known. Email us at ya@pcpc.org, if you’d like to learn what our ministry looks like on a week-to-week basis, or if you would like to be added to our email list.
Our prayer for our Young Adult Ministry is that we would walk in a manner pleasing to God, imitating Christ’s humility, gentleness and patience, by His grace, bearing with one another in love, and that we would be united by the Spirit in the hope of the Gospel. (Ephesians 4:1-3). https://pcpc.org/young-adults/
The Ambassadors Sunday Morning Community is a Young Adult class that welcomes all 20’s and 30’s - whether you are single, dating, engaged, newlyweds, or married. We meet on Sunday mornings at 11 a.m. and have fellowship, teaching, and discussion. More than a class on Sunday, this community seeks to daily live out the Gospel within the context of relationships. We believe that every Christian is a minister and that every Christian is a messenger (2 Corinthians 5:18-20). https://pcpc.org/communities/ambassadors/
PCPC Women’s Ministry has trained women who are available to help with your counseling concerns. We offer pastoral care and short-term counseling for women in the midst of personal struggles. This ministry serves any woman in our church community including PCPC members, regular attendees, and those seeking a church home. With great respect for confidentiality, Kari is available to counsel women. To schedule a time to meet with Kari call her at 214-224-2738. https://pcpc.org/women/
Verses: The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.” - Genesis 2:18 “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” - Romans 12 “For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.” -Psalm 84:11 “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.” -1 Corinthians 13:4-7
