Union Gospel Mission: Center of Hope

PCPC

The purpose of the Union Gospel Mission’s Center of Hope (Women’s & Children’s Shelter) is to provide a gospel mission in Dallas for women and children that ministers to the spiritual and physical needs of the homeless and needy while leading them to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Center of Hope’s goal is to restore the homeless women and their children to a productive life by bringing them the gospel message and providing needed life and job skills.

Needs for the Center include:

  • Couples or women to lead Children’s Chapel (7:00–8:00 pm, any night of the week) while the mothers are in Adult Chapel
  • Couples or women to care for those too young to attend Children’s Chapel (7:00–8:00 pm any night of the week) while the mothers are in Adult Chapel
  • Volunteers to answer the telephone anytime between 8:00 am–5:00 pm, Monday-Friday
