Katherine grew up in Atlanta and came to know the Lord in college through RUF campus ministry at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. As she began to see the reality of her sinful heart, Jesus, as Savior and King, became precious to her and the gospel became a life-giving invitation to rest from sin and self. That invitation continues to be one that she desperately needs and rejoices in every day! Around that same time in college, Katherine met her husband, Brian, and they were married in 2001. After spending a few early years in Houston, TX where Katherine was on staff at Christ the King Presbyterian Church doing Youth Ministry and then moving to Evanston, IL for two years for Brian to attend business school, they settled in Dallas in 2006. They have three boys, Parker (21), Will (19), and Cameron (17).
Brian and Katherine have been members of PCPC for 12 years, and Katherine currently serves on staff as the Senior Director of Family Ministries where she has the joy of supporting and strengthening ministry to children, youth, and families. Her desire for our families and their children is to have a growing confidence in and reliance on the covenant faithfulness of God, a love for and commitment to corporate worship and to embrace the privilege and responsibility of belonging to the family of God at PCPC.
In her free time, Katherine loves to read, walk (and talk) with friends, and cherishes time in the outdoors with her boys!
