Have child dip thumb in various paint colors to fill in the cross (PDF) to show that Jesus died for ME (thumb prints are unique). No paint? Try this Paint Recipe: 1 cup salt, 1 cup flour, 1 cup water, food coloring.
Get creative with other things to cover the cross. Glue on flower petals, crushed colored boiled-egg shells from egg hunt, Skittles, etc.
