Please sign up to register as a Harvey Relief volunteer! We are looking for people to give their time, talent, and resources. Upon registering you will be able to indicate in what way you can serve. If you have access to or connections to building materials, appliances, small construction machinery, water damage recovery items (fans, dehumidifiers, etc.), or anything else that you think might be useful in the recovery and rebuilding process, select “Other” on the form and list your resource connections.
Sheds of Hope are built by volunteers and flat-packed. They will be delivered to a Hurricane Harvey disaster site where they are set-up to provide families with safe storage and to build bridges of ministry during recovery.
Sheds of Hope Volunteer Opportunity
Mondays-Wednesdays during October through December
We will be putting together the sheds at the MNA Disaster Response Warehouse adjacent to the BCW Warehouse, 6100 Cedar Springs, Dallas, TX 75235.

The shifts available those days will be:
9:00 am to noon
1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Note: You can choose to work All Day (9:00 am - 4:00 pm) - Bring your lunch with - lunch break at noon
All volunteers must be adults (18 and over).
Short-Term Extend Mission Trip to Houston
For the foreseeable future, we will be sending teams of people from PCPC to Houston to help with rebuilding efforts.
Schedule: Teams will depart Dallas from PCPC on Thursday at 5:30 pm. All day Friday and half of Saturday will be spent with Sheds of Hope putting up recently made sheds as well as removing debris from homes. Then the team will depart from South Texas/Houston Saturday afternoon by 1:00 pm and will be returning to Dallas by 6:00 pm.
Accommodations: We will be staying in a mobile bunkhouse (“Base Camp”) on-property at Christ the King Presbyterian Church. A shower trailer is stationed there as well, and there are ample places for meals surrounding the Base Camp.

You will be able to choose one or many from the registration.
All volunteers must be ages 15 and over; and able to lift at least 50 lbs.
Parents must sign waiver form if under 18; if parents are not accompanying them the parent’s signature must be notarized. If you are 18 years of age, you will also be asked to complete a background check for Mission to North America (MNA)..
