About This Event
First Friday provides a parent’s night out for families with students ages 3-18 with a disability, as well as their siblings. We provide a buddy for the evening from 6:00-9:00 p.m. one Friday night a month during the school year. Each evening has a theme, crafts, activities, and a karaoke/dance party including a devotional led by a team member. bEfriend offers a fajita dinner for adults ages 18 and up with disability. We provide dinner, activities, and conversation from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on the same nights as First Friday allowing us to continue to build friendships with other adults with disabilities. At the same time, their parents enjoy a few hours of respite.
