Welcome to the Kaleo Sunday Morning Community

Steve Garber has written that to lead an integrated life, we need three things: a worldview that we can embrace, a mentor who embodies that worldview and a community in which to live out that worldview. With the Bible as the basis for such a worldview and participating elders and their wives to mentor and lead us, Kaleo seeks to be a community which connects and equips and mobilizes us to extend the transforming presence of the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ in Dallas and to the world. We are called (Kaleo is Greek for calling) to “run with endurance the race that is set before us” (Hebrews 12:1), as we learn to weave our faith into the very fabric of our everyday lives. Come and join us as we strive “to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which we have been called” (Ephesians 4:1).

Bill Lamberth, Matt Fray and Eric Horan team teach this class, which meets in room 263 at 11:00 am.

Our current study, titled “Our Pilgrim Journey: Biblical Themes of the Christian Life”, is based on Scripture passages paired with readings from John Bunyan’s “Pilgrim’s Progress.”
