DESCRIPTION:God often shows up in our lives in ways we do not expect. The
  Messiah and God’s Kingdom show up in unexpected ways. Jesus came to Hi
 s people as a baby in a manger. He entered the homes of sufferers and sin
 ners\, and He taught that\, in God’s Kingdom\, the last will be first. 
 See how Luke reveals Jesus as the unexpected Messiah who loves the lost. 
 Wednesday Watchmen will look at this gospel story with Luke: Good News of
  Great Joy by Lydia Brownback as our guide. Come walk through the events 
 of Jesus’ life with Wednesday Watchmen. Together we will learn from His
  words\, His walk with God\, and His love for sinners. Wednesday Watchmen
  is a community of women of all ages—young mothers\, singles\, great-gr
 andmothers\, and mid-lifers. Our meetings include singing\, teaching\, an
 d small groups. Becky Bain\, Dana Barber\, and Carroll Turpin lead teachi
 ng time. The small groups discuss the week's Scripture and teaching and p
 ray together. Come for this time of Bible study and fellowship! We will c
 ontinue our study in the spring with The Psalms of Ascent: Journey to Joy
  by Lydia Brownback. Wednesday Watchmen meets on Wednesday mornings from 
 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at PCPC. We look forward to studying God’s Word and 
 connecting with one another. Registration costs $30 for the year and cove
 rs the fall and spring semesters. Childcare is available for this study w
 ith a reservation.
