    Holy Week 2024

    Peace Be With You

Peace was lacking. Peace is lacking! Jesus has been crucified. The disciples are scrambling to make sense of what has just happened. They are living in profound fear, experiencing much confusion, and meeting behind locked doors. Jesus enters, unannounced, no knock at the door. He says, “Peace be with you.” They need peace. They need Him. Jesus reveals Himself—His body—to them. Then Jesus breathes the Holy Spirit on them.

What does this mean? In this brief encounter with His disciples, Jesus teaches us much about His resurrection peace, and the mission He has and will accomplish. This Easter Sunday, we will celebrate His resurrection and look to the peace He alone can offer. Oh, how we need His peace. Come, Lord Jesus!

Invite friends and family to worship in-person with us at 8:00, 9:30 or 11:00 a.m. or online at pcpc.org/live/, the PCPC App with an iOS or Android device, Facebook, or YouTube.

    Easter Sunday Parking

In an effort to help our guests, young families, and senior adults, we would ask those of you who are able, to park across the street and in the surrounding neighborhoods, if possible. On Easter Sunday, our neighbors at Equinox have given us the green light to park in their Avondale Ave garage. If you are able, please utilize our drop-off on Oak Lawn Ave for family members who can jump out and enter the building through the Courtyard.

    PCPC Kids on Easter Sunday

We will have PCPC Kids programming at 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00 a.m. for Nursery and Preschool. Nursery/Preschool registration for 8:00 a.m. is now closed (no registration needed for 9:30/11:00). We encourage all Elementary age children to attend worship with their parents on Easter Sunday.

    Easter Flower Cross

We invite all children to bring a flower to place in the large cross out in the Courtyard on Easter Sunday. It’s such a beautiful reminder that He is Risen!
