    The Grace to Draw Near

    Sunday Morning Worship
Closeness with God is among our highest privileges as a Christian. The writer of Hebrews calls us to come close (draw near) to the throne of grace, because we have a great high priest in Jesus who can sympathize with our every weakness. And the gospel writer John describes that closeness as an intimacy which is nothing less than the Father’s eternal love for His only Son. Join us as we explore prayer as communion with God, as a grace given for the nearness to Him that we were made to experience.

    The Grace to Hold Fast

    Sunday Evening Worship
Come back to PCPC again for a special Sunday evening worship service on "The Grace to Hold Fast." The author of Hebrews, writing to a congregation tempted to leave the faith, admonishes them not only to draw near to God, but to hold fast to Christ in their days of weariness and struggle. Admittedly, prayer is often hard work, more duty than delight. How then can we consider prayer a grace in seasons when it feels like a burden? In light of Christ’s priesthood, we’ll consider prayer as a means of grace to persevere, especially when our grip is weak and God seems distant rather than close.
